Trim is dominated by the greatest treasury of medieval monuments in Ireland. Prime among them is Trim Castle, the largest Anglo-Norman Castle in Ireland, which was used as a location in the film 'Braveheart'.

St. John's Castle built in 1173 by Hugh de Lacy - The finest and largest remaining Anglo-Norman Castle in Europe.

Hill of Tara - Home of the gods and goddesses, to druids and warriors, and to Irelands High Kings.

The Yellow Steeple in Trim - This 14th century tower was originally part off Trim's Augustinian Abbey of St. Mary.

Newgrange - Situated on a low hill and takes in the breathtaking views of the River Boyne. At the passage tomb at Newgrange a ray of sunlight shines through the roof box over the entrance and penetrates the passage to light up the central chamber, this dramatic event lasts for 17 minutes at dawn from the 19th to the 23rd of December.

Kells - An offically designated Irish Hertitage town with one of the finest examples of a monastic settlement to be found.

Bective Abbey - Boasting views overlooking the Boyne is the second Cistercian Abbey to be established in Ireland.

The River Boyne - Which flows along side of the Bounty Bar, take a walk along the Boyne which takes you downstream through some fields and here you find all the medieval sites of Trim.

Golf - County Meath Golf Club / Royal Tara Golf Club / Navan Golf Club / Knightsbrook Golf Club.

Dublin Airport - The Bounty Bar is located just 45 minutes from Dublin Airport and city where you avoid going through the city centre.
